what does it mean to accept?  when you hear acceptance what comes to mind? Acceptance is a noun with divers meaning but i will just give a few definitions of acceptance. Acceptance means the act of receiving something offered. Like when someone offers a gift and you take it, it means acceptance Acceptance also means an act of assenting or believing. Acceptance in human psychology is a person's assent to the reality of a situation, recognising a process or condition (most likely a negative, an unpleasant, uncomfortable and the 'i can not do anything about it' situation) without attempting to change it or protest it. Eckhart Tolle defines acceptance as a 'this is it' response to anything occurring in any moment of life. most people are caught up in the struggle against reality, trying constantly to fight and change their situation which is their reality without realising that in the struggle they lost their true self, they lost the chance to be a better person...

You wake up on a beautiful morning, gay, with an electric flow of joy, like every bad memories you have ever had has been snatched away by the darkest hour of the night, like your life's clock has started a recount of your every minutes, like a fresh page has just been reopened for you to start writing your history, rewriting your destiny and making your every minutes count. I am sure i locked all the windows and doors, where then is this creepy sound coming from? I listened, the sounds continued, I couldn't decipher anything, it was like a combination of sounds at a point and one animal sound at another point. I couldn't name the sounds, it was like the sounds rats made when they are scavenging for food, later it became like dogs sounds, you know the type of sounds dogs make when they are really scared of someone or something, i kind of relaxed because my dogs can make those sounds too. Then comfort returned, but then it did not stay, I heard a different kind of noise, like a cat scratching it claws on the door, the sound was at first far like it was my entrance door the cat was scratching on, then it became so near like it  was the room before mine then it suddenly became my door.
